A sense of community is important, particularly to those distinguished gentleman who opt to grow one of the most distinct mustaches in history, the Handlebar. Established in 1947, this club – which has its origins in England – is a collection of like-minded men who sport, “a hirsute appendage of the upper lip, with graspable extremities.” Members can be found in countries all around the world, with various meetings and events being held throughout the year. For those unable to sport such a follicle feature as the Handlebar mustache, there is a ‘Friends of’ distinction that allows you to associate with the club. Apologies to the bearded, but this club is for stand-alone mustaches only.
