The Atlantic Monthly has compiled a list of ’20 Mustaches that Changed History’, and although normally this might be a somewhat farcical venture, the venerable magazine has done a good job of relaying the notion that the mustache was a political, social, and cultural statement before it became just another hipster fashion.
